Corsican voices

Founded in 1978 in Corsica, this vocal ensemble of 6 singers, after having contributed to the safeguarding of the oral heritage of the island, has produced one of the most daring polyphonic music of the moment. With an incredible inventiveness, their compositions, between East and West, between memory and utopia, restore to Corsica its status as a crossroads in the Mediterranean.

Voices of memory, between muñeira et tarantella

ALEGRIA e LIBERTA - between muñeira and tarantella - devotes the meeting of the voices ; that of the 'passionaria' of the Italian folk and traditional song, Lucilla GALEAZZI, and those of the marvelous Galician 'cantareiras' of IALMA. A repertoire snaking between tradition and modernity, sublimated by Didier LALOY's diatonic accordion, Carlo RIZZO's tamburello and Maarten DECOMBEL's guitar.

Galician voices

These 4 magnificent Galician voices bring to their songs of exile the vivifying breath of a Brussels rich in its diversities and the unalterable melodies of the "cantareiras" of the Atlantic Coast. From moving vocal crossings to mystical lyricism or festive flights, IALMA brings us back to life the Galician legacy that flows through their veins with the exaltation of the walker who sees Compostelle appear on the horizon.

OSMAN MARTINS
Bossa Nova, samba, chorinho

Osman MARTINS kneads bossa-nova, samba, chorinho and emancipuses them in a luminous, popular and refined work, in a flood of inventive percussions signed Osvaldo HERNANDEZ that give the change to a rushing cavaquinho and a soft, coppery, ample voice mischievous ; while the strings of the MP4 Quartet punctuate a work offering the great Brazilian music a new alphabet of nobility.

He is Majorcan. He raps in his tongue. Nicknamed "the Terrible Child", VALTONYC, whose history with music is matched by his romance with justice, discovered rap with the Wu-Tang Clan, Violadores del Verso, Sean Price, Vinnie Paz, Immortal Technic and Keny Arkana. He characterizes his music as a boombap rap.
